Like photography, but more
I find a lot of photos don’t really do justice to the subject.
Say you have a car, you’ve spent countless hours and dollars making it one of a kind. Or you’ve saved and finally bought your dream ride. You own it, you can see it, you probably have a million shots of it on your phone. You don’t need more of them that still don’t look as good as it does in real life.
My ultimate mission is to create images that go beyond what you can see with the naked eye. More of an artistic impression. Less point and shoot with filters.
My style is born from an obsession with the mystery around hidden vehicles.
These may be show rides, maybe a collection that nobody ever sees all together or maybe just someone's pride and joy. Not at a car show, in a studio or staged on location with elaborate backdrops, but put away at home or in the shop getting worked on, maybe even in the back shed covered in mess.
The most interesting thing to me is that these machines are hidden everywhere. They could be in your street and you would never know.
